What words would you use to describe your performance style?

Dynamic, indulgent, contemporary, graceful, flirtatious and occasionally explosive.

When did you begin your performance journey?

As a child, I did the whole tap, ballet, jazz & hip hop thing. I enjoyed acting and being in theatre the most however. I spent the greater half of my adolescence exploring that medium but always had an affinity for movement. Through attending raves & festivals in early adulthood, I found the confidence to explore dance as a new medium. I spent many hours if not entire years practicing in the gym or alone in my bedroom. Being experimental allowed me to develop my own unique style as a performer. After my incubation period, I started doing gogo performances and I eventually found pole arts and melded all my styles together when I began working as a dancer full time. I love looking back on the years and seeing the evolution unfold. It's been a wild journey.

What do you love most about being a performance artist?

Oh, so many things! I love that I AM a dancer and have proven to myself I am an athlete in my adult years. That feels very surreal to me at times. It's never too late to embark on a new journey and surprise yourself. I love all the amazing friendships and opportunities dancing has lead me to. I love that I get to explore music and costumes and meld all of my artistic talents together to create production value out the wazoo. I have a mega outlet for creativity through performance.
